300 Families Received Donations

In conjunction with the month of Ramadhan, 300 food packs were donated to 300 underprivileged families in the country. The food distribution by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and the Embassy of The Republic of Turkey took place yesterday afternoon at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas.

 

The food packs were distributed by His Excellency Professor Dr.  Hamit Ersoy, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey to Brunei Darussalam and Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin binti Haji Johari, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. This drive thru contribution was funded by the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency, TİKA, at the request of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey and with the coordination of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports.
