To further glorify the month full of blessings, which is the Ramadhan, the delegation of the Ministry of Home Affairs and the departments under it as well as the Mukim and Village Consultative Council held the Al-Quran Tadarus Ceremony at the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Kampung Mentiri yesterday afternoon.

Present was Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Kerna Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Abu Bakar bin Haji Apong, Minister of Home Affairs. Also hled was the endowment and donations presentation to 83 orphans.

Such a ceremony was also held by the Ministry of Development and the departments under it at the Kampung Mentiri Mosque yesterday afternoon. The ceremony commenced with the presentation of endowment by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Ingénieur Awang Haji Suhaimi bin Haji Gafar, Minister of Development, followed by the reading of Tadarus Al- Quran.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Finance and Economy as well as the departments under it also held the Tadarus and Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony virtually, yesterday afternoon. Joining the event were Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abd Rahman, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for fiscal and Dato Seri Paduka Dr Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy for Economy.
