174 doses of vaccine were given to children aged 5 to 11 on the 15th of April 2022, bringing the total vaccinations administered to 9,490 doses, which is 22.1 percent of children in this age group. Meanwhile, 62.6 percent of the country's population have received three doses of the vaccine. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Awang Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health stated the matter at a media conference on the latest COVID-19 situation in the country yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health.

 

210 new cases have been reported, in which 175 cases were results from ART tests and 35 cases were results of 1,071 RT-PCR laboratory tests. Therefore, the total cases reported in Brunei Darussalam to date is 139,847 cases. There are 3 cases categorised in Category 5, and no case in Category 4. 387 cases have recovered, taking the total recovered cases to 138,167 cases. There are 1,463 active cases, in which 48 are currently treated in hospitals, whereas 1,415 cases are currently undergoing home self-isolation.
