The latest COVID-19 situation in Brunei Darussalam. 1,243 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine were given to children aged 5 to 11 on 20th April 2022, bringing total vaccinations to 13,519 doses, which is 31.5 percent of children in the age group. Meanwhile, 63.4 percent of the population have received three doses of the vaccine. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor  Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health stated the matter at a media conference on the latest COVID-19 situation in the country yesterday afternoon at Dewan Al-Afiah, Ministry of Health.

 

181 new cases were reported, where 166 were results from ART and 15 cases were from 468 RT-PCR lab tests conducted. Total cases reported to date is 140,723 cases. There are 2 cases in Category 5, and 1 case in Category 4. 112 cases have recovered, taking total recovered cases to 139,409 cases. There are 1,096 active cases, where 28 are currently treated in hospitals, and 1,068 are on home self-isolation.
