Kampung Kilanas Mosque Takmir Committee yesterday afternoon held a Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony.

The reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. Also in attendance was Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence as Executive Committee of Mosque Takmir. The annual event is an opportunity for mosque takmir committee members and congregants to make Quran reading as a daily practise.
