231 recipients comprising officers and staff of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports and its departments received medals of honour in conjunction with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's birthday celebration.

The medals of honour were presented by Awang Haji Nazmi bin Awang Haji Mohammad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. 119 recipients received the Pingat Indah Kerja Baik and 143 recipients received the Pingat Kerja Lama or Long Service Medal. The ceremony took place yesterday afternoon at the National Service Program Training Camp in Temburong District.
