Fireworks and Firecrackers Seized

TUTONG

A permanent resident was detained by the Royal Brunei Police Force, after being believed to be involved in the sale of contraband.

The 58 year old woman was detained for possessing 14 boxes containing various types of fireworks and firecrackers during an inspection by personnel of the Tutong Police Station in the Festive Stall area, Tutong District. The contraband were seized and brought to the Tutong Police Station for further investigation. The case is being investigated under the Arms and Explosives Act Chapter 58.
