A Religious performance was among the events enlivening the festive stage in the capital last night, held in conjunction with His Majesty's 76th Birthday Celebration.

Organised by the Islamic Da'wah Centre, it was attended by Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. A poetry declamation titled 'Dirgahayu Tuanku' was delivered by Awang Abdul Aziz bin Haji Abdul Kahar, Assistant Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre. Also present was Awang Haji Abd Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of the Islamic Da'wah Centre.

A Pentarama performance enlivened the festive stage in Temburong District, which included a drama sketch and comedy show. In attendance was Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Temburong District Officer.

A similar performance also took place at the festive stage in Belait District. The Pentarama featured singing performances from The Rudies Taswim Rozan and Fnduo. Present, Awang Mohd Shah Johan bin Hj Shari, Head of the Belait District Youth and Sports Department.

Meanwhile in Tutong District, the 'Malam Rentak Evolusi ke 5 was held, organised by Jasura Entertainment, featuring several local bands.
