The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports held a Reading of Surah Yassin and Tahlil for His Majesty's late parents and son, Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien; Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit and Al-Marhum Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim. The ceremony took place at the Royal Mausoleum.

 

Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. The mass reading of Yassin and Tahlil was led by Awang Haji Hazwan bin Haji Salim, Champion of the National Al-Quran Reading Competition for Youth for 2022. Also present was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, Deputy Minister, Department of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office as Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee for the 17th National Youth Day Celebration.
