Some 100 trees were planted during the Trees Planting Activity organised by the Royal Thai Embassy in Brunei Darussalam with the cooperation of the Forestry Department, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The activity was held this morning at the Berakas Forest Reserve Recreational Park.

Joining the activity were Dayang Hajah Tutiyati binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.  The activity aimed to support the government's initiative through Tree Planting Programme in targeting the planting of 5 hundred thousand new trees by 2035.
