Showing a good and interesting video is one strategy to attract the attention of new consumers and retain loyal customers for the products/services offered. So far, we might think that making good and interesting videos requires special skills, especially in the field of videography, even though this is not as difficult as imagined as long as there is a will to learn. In fact, this can be done only by using our respective cellphones/smartphones.

To answer these doubts, the Business Clinic presents a content creator who is also an entrepreneur, he is Yanuar FX. A man born in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan who currently lives and develops his career in the city of Surabaya, East Java. A very extraordinary young man who inspires his life story, until he is successful today and has 7 businesses with many branches in Indonesia, including photo studios (Vici Studiospace, Indovisual Studio), beverage products (Minomo Indonesia), and Neon Box Advertising ( Skc Advertising).

In his presentation, Yanuar conveyed the importance of videography, especially for business, besides that he also explained various types of content.

"Videography is very important because it can support the work we do, especially those who are engaged in the world of entrepreneurship/business". Obviously Yanuar.

“The thing that needs to be known as an early stage is the type of content. Where there are 6 types of content, namely photos, videos, text, images, audio, and blogs. Among these 6, the most powerful content that can be included on all social media platforms is video content, this is because it can make people trust us more so that the values ​​we have are higher than others,” he continued explaining.

Furthermore, this 23-year-old man also conveyed several video editing applications that can be accessed via smartphones including, VN, Kinemaster, CapCut, Inshot, and tik-tok. For those who are lazy to edit, according to him, the simplest way is through inshot.

He also added several applications that can be used on PCs/laptops, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, Sony Vegas Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Davinci Resolve. through the application on the cellphone only.

What is no less important than the delivery is how to find and package content ideas, which can be done using the ATM method.

“Actually there is a method that needs to be applied in finding and packaging content ideas, namely the ATM method: Observe, Imitate, and Modify. This ATM method can be applied by looking for reference content ideas on social media, then recording the details of the concept & references, and finally shooting and editing.” concluded the man who had received a film scholarship at Humber College Canada.

Yanuar also said that there are several skills in making videos, including making concepts (concepting), taking and editing videos (shooting & editing), copywriting, vlogs, education & entertainment (edutainment), teamwork (teamwork), leadership (leadership), marketing, branding, and others. Then according to him, the video has feelings, there are several elements that make the video more classy, ​​namely music, storytelling, camera angels, camera movements, and color.

In this Business Clinic Class (KKB) Vol 2.2, in addition to sharing videography knowledge, Yanuar also shared marketing and branding knowledge to class participants.
