Registration to renew expired Identity Cards and replace damaged or lost Identity Cards, specifically for Yellow and Purple Identity Cards, will be opened as of Monday, 19th September, 2022, in addition to registration for applicants who have reached the age of 12.

 

 For registration at the Department of Immigration and National Registration, JIPK Headquarters, applicants can make an appointment through the Que-Up App or via 'walk in'. Meanwhile, in Branch Offices, it is via 'walk in' only.

 

 Applicants who have registered for a Yellow Identity Card between 17th February 2022 to 9th August 2022 and for a Purple Identity Card between 12th July 2021 to 9th August 2022 whose respective Identity Cards have yet to be issued, are required to present themselves at the Card Division for fingerprinting and photographs in order to meet the requirements in the new Identity Card System. At the same time, specific registration counters will be provided and applicants are required to make an appointment through the Que-Up App for Registration at the Headquarters and via walk-in for Branch Offices.
