In promoting breast cancer early detection and intervention through education, the Brunei Cancer Centre, Pantai Jerudong Specialist Centre PJSC, launched the Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2022 campaign. The event was held at the centre in Jerudong, 1st October morning.

The launching was officiated by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Minister of Education. The event ran concurrently with the presentation of appreciation certificates to sponsors as well as a discussion on breast cancer which among others stressed on the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Also present was Pengiran Datin Seri Paduka Hajah Zety Sufina binti Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Sani, Deputy Minister of Finance and Economy.
