The Brunei Darussalam WARGAMAS Association held the 76 times Khatam Al-Quran Ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty The Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam's 76th Birthday Celebration. The ceremony took place at Lambak Kanan National Housing Scheme Mosque, 30th October morning.

Leading the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah was Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Matsatejo bin Sokiaw, Deputy Minister, Department of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office. The Khatam Al-Quran ceremony continued with the recitation of Al-Quran Verses from the khatam participants led by Haji Mohammad Hussin bin Haji Mohammad Salleh. Over one thousand individuals from Wargamas Association and senior citizens nationwide took part in the ceremony.
