​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, began a State Visit to the Republic of Türkiye and attended a Welcoming Ceremony; Four-Eye Meeting and Bilateral Meeting with the President of the Republic of Türkiye; Signing Ceremony of Agreements; Press Conference; State Banquet; and a Wreath Laying Ceremony. The Welcoming Ceremony was held at the Presidential Palace, Ankara. His Majesty was welcomed upon arrival at the Presidential Palace by His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, President of the Republic of Türkiye.

The Ceremony began with both leaders proceeding to the Special Dais to receive the Salute of Honour accompanied by the National Anthems of both countries, and a 21 gun salute. The ceremony continued with the inspection of the Royal Guard of Honour mounted by members of the Turkish Armed Forces.

His Majesty was then introduced to Dignitaries from the Republic of Türkiye, followed with the introduction of Brunei Darussalam's delegation to His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Both leaders then proceeded to the Four-Eye Meeting.
