​His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister's Office, attended a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, RBAF, 62nd Anniversary Celebration. Accompanying His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was His Royal Highness 920 Major Udara Prince 'Abdul Mateen ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah. The ceremony took place on 30th May later afternoon, at Surau Ad-Dhifa, Bolkiah Garrison.

Upon arrival, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was greeted by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Md Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence; and Major General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the RBAF.

The ceremony began with the reading of Al-Qur'an by Private Mohd Zainul Arifin bin Haji Haminuddin, Royal Brunei Land Force.

The mass Maghrib prayer was led by Awang Mohammad Khairol Azmi bin Haji Salleh, Imam of Surau Ad-Difa', who also led the sunat hajat prayer.
