​The first flight carrying Brunei Darussalam intending haj pilgrims left for the Holy City of Madinah on 4th June morning. 251 intending pilgrims boarded the flight Royal Brunei flight RB, BI4201 and is expected to arrive in Madinah at 1:40 in the afternoon local time.

Present at the Brunei International Airport to bid farewell were Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports and Acting Minister of Health.
