​There are some individuals in the society who are irresponsible for disposing garbage at inappropriate places that can pollute the environment. All living things - human, animals or plants - are highly dependent on the earth's natural resources. Therefore, Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala forbids us from doing any damage on earth including to the soul, properties and environment. The Friday Sermon focused on Taking Care of the Environment.

The Imam or Prayer Leader said to maintain and preserve a beautiful and peaceful environment, it is our role and responsibilities to maintain cleanliness and protect the environment from any form of pollution and dirt. It is hope by maintaining cleanliness in our lives, Brunei Darussalam will become a beautiful country, clean and free from any disease and danger.
