His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah stresses that it is very appropriate that Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA expands its curriculum development and programme offers to fields that have become the life heart of the 21st Century. His Majesty emphasises that the programmes or courses offered are not just focused on basic Fardhu 'Ain knowledge, but also fulfil the Fardhu Kifayah needs.

His Majesty made the titah at the Opening Ceremony of the International Conference of Islamic Universities organised by Sultan Sharif Ali Islamic University, UNISSA in collaboration with 'The ASIAN Islamic Universities Association, AIUA. The ceremony took place at Indera Samudra Grand Hall, The Empire Brunei, yesterday morning.

In the titah, His Majesty expresses gratitude to Allah Subhana Wata'ala to be able to attend the International Conference of Islamic Universities.
