​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah Ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam watched the Charity Polo Tournament and presented prizes. Also in attendance were His Majesty's daughters and sister: Her Royal Highness Princess Fadzilah Lubabul Bolkiah; Her Royal Highness Princess 'Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah; and Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna. Also present was Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj ibni Sultan Ibrahim, Tunku Temenggong Johor. Held at the Royal Brunei Polo and Riding Club, Jerudong, the tournament was organised by the Brunei Polo Team and supported by the Royal Brunei Polo Association and the Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam.

Upon arrival, His Majesty was greeted by Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Sanggamara Di-Raja Retired Major General Pengiran Haji Ibnu Basith bin Pengiran Datu Penghulu Pengiran Haji Apong.

In the first match, Sonic The Hedgehog team led by His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen defeated team 'Pacman' led by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Jefri Bolkiah, 1-0 in 2 chukkas.

Sonic The Hedgehog team also recorded a 2-1 win in 2 chukkas over the Super Mario team led by Her Royal Highness Princess Azemah Ni'matul Bolkiah. In another match, team Pacman beat Super Mario team, 4-3 in 2 chukkas.

His Majesty then presented prizes to the BLUE and RED teams of the Royal Brunei Junior Academy and presented the prizes for the Charity Polo Tournament. Sonic the Hedgehog team was crowned as champion, while Pacman and Super Mario teams came in second and third respectively. His Majesty also presented souvenirs to the match referees.
