Vice President Pays Working Visit To Thakhek

(KPL) Vice President Bounthong Chitmany and his delegation paid a working visit to Thakhek district, Khammouane province on 28 August.

 

The delegation was received by Khammouane governor, Vanxay Thongsavanh and provincial leading officials where Vice President Bounthong gave an advice Thakhek district’s leading officials on socio-economic development by paying attention to create the district as an economic hub, a clean, beautiful and livable district.

 

Local authorities also were advised to pay attention to security, social safeguarding and order, solving social shortcoming, continue to promote agricultural production through planting and raising, creating development potential aiming at improving the living conditions of the people day by day.

 

Local authorities should also continue monitoring the situation of natural disasters and prevent seasonal disease outbreaks, he said.
