His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar Ali Saifuddi​en Saadul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam made an unscheduled visit to the Ministry of Religious Affairs at Jalan Dewan Majlis. During the visit, His Majesty in a titah stresses that the ways of teaching and the teaching workforce require psychology, especially for young pupils or students. Without the psychology factor, His Majesty in the titah says that learning will not be guaranteed perfect. In the titah, the Monarch expresses his care and attention in several matters related to religious education, syllabus and subjects as well as the policy of sending students abroad.

These include the importance of learning methods identified as suitable and perfectly implemented, a teacher accessing psychology mastery, complaints of some parents that their children are not happy studying in religious school and the re-evaluation of the selection criteria for students receiving scholarships. His Majesty in the titah first underscores that the Ministry of Religious Affairs as the driver has a role in looking after religious education specifically in matters of preparing policy and correct system.

​His Majesty in the titah says that learning will not be guaranteed as perfect without the psychology factor.

His Majesty also expresses his care and attention on religious subjects.

The use of terms in books on religious subjects​ also gained the Monarch's attention.

His Majesty in his titah proposes for the subject of Faraid which is acknowledged as difficult, to be revie​wed.

On sending students abroad, His Majesty in his titah urges for the selection criteria be re-evaluated.​

His Majesty in his titah says that out of the thre​e people selected for scholarships, only 2 were sent to Al-Azhar, Egypt. While the other was sent to another institution to undergo the Bachelor's degree in Fiqh and Usul.
