His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam, attended the Majlis Istiadat Berbedak Pengantin Diraja or Royal Powdering Ceremony for His Majesty's son, His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen and Yang Mulia Dayang Anisha Rosnah binti Adam. The ceremony took place at Istana Nurul Iman.

The arrival of His Majesty and Her Majesty at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Buana, Istana Nurul Iman, was preceded by the Penglima Diraja carrying the Pemuras and Karga as well as the Penglima Asgar carrying the Kelasak and Kampilan, accompanied by the bearers of the Alat- Alat Perhiasan Tunggal.

His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen arrived at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Buana flanked by His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah.

His Majesty and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri were then invited to lead the powdering ceremony for His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. At the same time, 17 cannon shots rang out, indicating the start of the ceremony.

Yang Mulia Dayang Anisha Rosnah binti Adam then arrived at the Balai Singgahsana Indera Buana, flanked by the spouses of the delegation under command.
