TELEKOM Brunei Bhd (TelBru)'s Smart Nation Roadshow recently rolled in to St Margaret's School, giving over 200 students wider exposure to the latest innovations in the field of Information and Communications Technology (ICT).

The road show is part of TelBru's ongoing Smart Nation campaign, which is aimed towards improving the quality of life for Brunei citizens through ICTenabled solutions that seek to address various global urban challenges.

The students listened to presentations on a range of topics that included the introduction of Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) and the Smart Nation Community Portal.

There was also an exhibition on technological innovations such as Virtual Reality (VR) and smart sensors which allow the IoT to collect and exchange data.

TelBru launched the Smart Nation Roadshow in January this year as part of its contribution to the local educational sector.

More scheduled appearances at schools in other districts are currently 1 underway.

At the same time, TelBru is encouraging schools in the government and private sector to contact the

company's headquarters, or through its social media, to engage in the Smart Nation initiative.
