​The Informative Society Programme is one of the Information Department's platform to disseminate official information pertaining to the government and the government's policies to the public. Yesterday morning, such a programme was held at the Bukit Beruang Civic Centre in Tutong for residents in Kampung Telisai, Kampung Bukit Beruang and Kampung Danau.

 

Present was Dayang Hajah Noorashidah binti Haji Aliomar, Acting Deputy Director of Information. 36 participants take part in the 2-day programme. Dayang Hajah Rabi'atul' Adawiyah binti Haji A. Ahmad, the chairperson of the programme said, the programme aimed to increase knowledge and sharing any developments as well as efforts by the government to upgrade the living standards of people.

 

Several government officers also delivered their talks. Among the topics were Wawasan Negara 2035 and implementation of registration and license for boat-trailers by the Land Transport Department. Meanwhile, the Public Service Commission and the Ministry and Industry Department also explained on the usage of "PSC Recruitment System" for job application in the government sector as well as a talk on unemployment issue and job selection. Awang Md. Yusre @ Mustajir bin Haji Mabob, Sekretariat Tetap Wawasan Brunei 2035 in an interview elaborated that the briefing among other things aim to provide information on Wawasan Brunei 2035 to the mukim consultative council, MPM, or village consultative council, MPK, in together making the Wawasan a success.

 

The participants are scheduled to make a visit to the Fish Landing Complex and Darussalam Enterprise, DARe soon.
