Pakistan High Commission Present Awards to 11 Bruneians

As part of celebrations for the 70th Independence Day for Pakistan, some 11 Bruneians were presented with awards as appreciation for their contribution and commitment and as gratitude for the maintenance of friendly relations with the Pakistan High Commission in Brunei Darussalam.
The presentation of awards also aimed to strengthen cordial ties between people of both countries. Among the recipients were Managing Director of Cityneon Brunei, Dato Ting Jack Chai; the Vice-President 1 of the Brunei Darussalam Women's Business Council (WBC), Dayang Hajah Mordiah binti Haji Jackia; Managing Director of D'Sunlit Sdn Bhd, Jackson Ting and Awang Haji Syed Anayat Ullah Shah from Syarikat Dayang Limah dan Anak-Anak.
Presenting the awards to the recipients was the Acting Pakistani High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, Ahmed Ali Sirohey. The ceremony took place at the main conference hall at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.
The ceremony also witnessed presentation of awards to some 22 Pakistanis who have made contributions, efforts and commitments within the community.
