The Chung Hwa Middle School (CHMS) Alumni Association yesterday received sponsorship from Bung'eo, the recently opened Korean street snack corner that offers scrumptious ice cream fish waffle.

Each runner for the charity run will receive a 10 per cent discount voucher from Bung'eo upon registration which can be later found inside their race kit collection once they made their collection on a scheduled date.

In an interview with a representative of Bung'eo, John Lee Tze Tak, said that even though his shop has just opened, he believed that it is still important for him to carry out his social responsibility in giving back to the community.

"So far we have provided a total of 2,000 vouchers to the association to be distributed to the participants of the charity run and we will provide more if more are needed," he added.

He hoped that the general public will also come forward to support the event.

Also in attendance at the event yesterday were the Chairman of the CHMS Alumni Association, Tan Guan Siong; and other committee members of the association.

The CHMS Alumni Association Charity Run will take place on September 25 and the registration for the run is expected to end on August 31.

Registration and payment for the run can be made at CHMS Alumni Association at their office at 1st Floor SAK Complex, Simpang 2013, Jalan Gadong, as well as on the following locations such as Aewon Kiarong and Aewon Seria, Cityneon Brunei, CHMS, BSB (Admin office), Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam's (Pusat Ehsan) Office, SMARTER Brunei office and Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA) Association.
