LOS ANGELES

Warner Bros.'   "Sully" is No.  1 at the North America box offices for the second straight week, but Hollywood is going through a "slow" fall movie season, an industry analyst said Sunday.

Director Clint Eastwood's dramatization of the landing of an airliner in the Hudson River will sell an estimated 22 million U.S.  dollars this weekend, dropped only 37 percent compared with last weekend, bringing its 10-day estimated total to 70.5 million dollars, according to box office tracker comScore.

Up to date, "Sully" is just 1.8 million dollars shy of the entire run of Tom Hanks' "Bridge of Spies," which went on to earn six Oscar nominations last year including a win for Supporting Actor. It also expanded its international showing places, adding five markets grossing an estimated 7 million outside North America bringing its international cume to 23.4 million dollars for a worldwide cume to 93.9 million dollars.

"Blair Witch" debuted in second place with a languid 9.7 million dollars in sales. It is the second follow-up movie to 1999' s "The Blair Witch Project." Internationally, "Blair Witch" opened in 27 markets and brought in an estimated 4.9 million dollars for a 14.5 million dollars global opening.

Rounding out the 10 most-popular movies this week were "Bridget Jones's Baby" (8.2 million dollars), "Snowden" (8 million), "Don't Breathe" (5.6 million), "When the Bough Breaks" (5.5 million), "Suicide Squad" (4.7 million), "The Wild Life" (2.7 million), "Kubo And The Two Strings" (2.5 million) and "Pete's Dragon" (2 million).  Enditem
