Kampong Penanjong recently celebrated Hijrah as well as nine residents who had just returned from their Haj pilgrimage.

The event, organised by the Takmir Committee of Kampong Penanjong Mosque as part of its annual activities, was attended by Dato Paduka Haji Ahmad bin Kadi, Advisor to the AJK Kampong Penanjong Mosque, other committee members, Muslimahs as well as village residents.

The evening also featured a special religious talk entitled 'Harta Negara Sejahtera' by Ustaz Isham bin Ismail from the Islamic Da'wah Centre as well as a Dikir Marhabban performance by the Haj pilgrims.
