The Tutong District Office reminds the public, companies and owners of business premises to always keep the environment clean and not dump or pile garbage in public places.

 Recently, two more companies were issued with compound fines for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021. Sing Hong Lee Enterprise and Liezamonah Dan Keluarga Restaurant, both in Kampung Telisai, Tutong were each issued a $500 compound fine of and were ordered to settle the fine within seven days.

If in default, the companies involved can be brought to court and if convicted, can be fined not less than $2,000 and not exceeding $10,000.
