​Friday is the greatest of all days, a very special day for Muslims, a day full of blessings, glory and also a day to multiply the deeds of religious act to Allah SWT. In fact, on Friday, Allah Subhanahu Wata'ala orders Muslims to go to the mosque early and leave their work to listen to the sermon and perform the obligatory Friday prayer. After completing the prayer, then the Muslims must continue the efforts to find sustenance and remember Allah SWT in all circumstances. The matter was among those emphasized in the Friday Sermon titled 'Keutamaan Mendengar Khutbah Jumaat' or 'The Priority of Listening to the Friday Sermon'.

Fardhu Jumaat prayer is a weekly gathering that provides great benefits to all Muslims as the sermons delivered are for the benefit and guidance of life in the world and also in the hereafter. Among the benefits and guidance is to increase knowledge, receive advice and guidance, increase faith and piety to Allah SWT and take lessons and advice from the sermons delivered. Therefore, what a loss for those who pass or procrastinate to attend the mosque, let alone after the prayer leader is on the mimbar to read the sermon. However, there are also a few congregants who do not have time to listen to the sermon and there are those who listen to the sermon only in the car. Similarly, there are still a number of congregants who do not pay attention to the sermon that is being delivered as some of them are still talking and using mobile phones when the Friday sermon is being delivered.
