BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN

 

​A local man was brought before the Bandar Seri Begawan Magistrate's Court on 3 charges of customs offences and faced a total fine of $31,300 or 20 months imprisonment in default.

 

 Salwadi, aged 45, was sentenced to a fine of $16,300 or 13 months imprisonment in default for the offence of possessing 182 "VAPE JUICE" of various brands. For the second offence, the accused was fined $7,000 or 7 months imprisonment in default, for possessing 203 vape accessories of various brands. While for the third offence, the accused was fined $8,000 or 8 months imprisonment in default for possessing 9 vape accessories of various brands. The money from the proceeds of vape sales amounting to $478 and all contraband were confiscated.
