​His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, in a titah states that the strengthening of trade linkages in other areas including energy between Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Thailand will also ensure mutual benefit to both countries. His Majesty made the titah at the Official Dinner in honour of the Official Visit of His Excellency Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand. The Dinner was held at Baitur Rahmah, Istana Nurul Iman. Present at the Official Dinner were members of the Royal Family.

The Official Dinner began with the recitation of Doa Selamat by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti.

His Majesty in the titah expresses confidence that the long-standing relations shared between both countries will ensure resilience in an era of disruptions and uncertainty. His Majesty in his titah says that Brunei Darussalam and Thailand have always consulted each other and worked together in ASEAN as well as other regional and international forums.

His Excellency in his speech said that that it is a great honour for him to make this official visit to Brunei Darussalam. According to His Excellency various issues that are important to the people of both countries were discussed in the meeting with His Majesty.

His Excellency and delegation were in the country for a two-day Official Visit.
