​Members of the public as well as business and enterprise owners are reminded to comply with planning laws by obtaining Planning Permits for every developments and land use. The warning was issued by the Planning Authority through the Department of Town and Country Planning, Ministry of Development, following the 'Operasi Kemas' conducted in Mukim Sengkurong, recently.

In the operation, 10 companies were issued warning letters. Of the total issued with warning letters, 8 companies has coordinated their activities and developments. While 2 companies were issued compound fines under the Town and Country Planning, Composition of Offences, Regulations, 2018, for failing to coordinate all activities and developments issued by the Planning Authority. The offences made by the companies included placing, using, obstructing, displaying items in the parking areas, sidewalks and landscaping at business premises and where the company operates.
