​By command of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has appointed Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Dayang Hajah Nor Hashimah binti Haji Mohammed Taib, Permanent Secretary for Security and Law at the Prime Minister's Office as Attorney General to replace Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Ahmad bin Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Bakti Diraja Dato Laila Utama Haji Awang Isa.

The date of appointment of the said senior officer is effective from Thursday, 19th of Syaaban, 1445 corresponding to 29th of February 2024.
