Religious activities continue to be held during the final days of Ramadhan by various countries in the country. The Ministry of Religious Affairs through the Youth and Sports Department held a Youth Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony on 7th April morning, at Ar-Rahim Mosque in Kampung Bukit Panggal, Tutong District.

The ceremony commenced with the reading of Surah Al-Fatihah by a Member of the Legislative Council. The Youth Khatam Al-Qur'an ceremony in Ramadhan was one of the ministry's annual projects, involving government agencies, youth associations and the youth themselves. Also in attendance were Permanent and Deputy Permanent Secretaries at the ministry.

Also holding a similar ceremony in the afternoon of the same day, was HiTUNE Universal Services, which coincided with a donation presentation to 10 orphans. Present, Awang Haji Mohammad Rosli bin Haji Ibrahim, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
