The Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism through the Department of Tourism Development launched its first online tourism product directory that inventoried tourism activities, products and related services across all four districts. The ceremony took place this morning at Balai Khazanah Islam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, in the Capital.

The 'Brunei Online Tourism Product Directory', www.explorebrunei.gov.bn was launched by Dayang Hajah Dahliana binti Haji Aliakbar, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism.  Earlier, Dayang Salinah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, Acting Director of Tourism Development Department in her opening remarks highlighted that the directory is expected to be beneficial for tourism-related businesses in improving their offerings, directing their marketing efforts, and assisting travel agents or operators in designing more appealing travel packages.  The directory includes about 300 tourism activities, products and related services that are categorized into Nature; Culture and Heritage; Adventure; Food and Beverages; and Accommodation.
