JALAN PASAR BARU, GADONG

Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) has received a study visit from the Student Welfare Committee of E-Residential College delegation of Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

The 'Cultural Tour To Brunei' was the theme of the visit, where 15 participants took part. It was led by Deputy Principal Residential College, Awang Mohd Hilmey bin Saili.

The purpose of this visit was to provide an opportunity to exchange views between UMS delegates and UNISSA. In addition, this visit looked to increase knowledge and share experiences relating to the improvement of management and the involvement of UMS students.

It also allowed the delegation the chance to take a closer look at the culture and traditions of the different communities in Brunei Darussalam.

The UMS delegation was welcomed by the Dean of Student Affairs at the UNISSA, Awang Supri bin Haji Sudin, and the President of the Student Representative Council (SRC), Awang Haji Muhammad Nur Alif bin Haji Talib.

The delegation was briefed about UNISSA through corporate video presentation and it listened to briefings on UNISSAs residential college by Student Manager, Awang Haji Mohammad Khairul Rijal bin Begawan Mudim Haji Sapar.

The delegation later gave a brief introduction on UMS and hoped the visit to UNISSA will be beneficial to all parties and that a good relationship can be built through this programme.
