​Five companies and twenty two individuals were issued compound fines for violating the Miscellaneous Offences Act, Chapter 30. The offences were found during separate operations conducted by the Licensing and Enforcement Division, Brunei Muara District Office at Mukim Sengkurong, Mukim Kilanas and Mukim Pengkalan Batu.

Syarikat Sarimbun Enterprise, Badan Tanmiah, Syarikat Hing Jaya Sdn Bhd and Gena Corporation Sdn Bhd were fined $2,000 each while Mack Berjaya Contractor was fined $6,000.

Three individuals were each issued $1,000 compound fines, two individuals were each fined $500 and seventeen individuals were each fined $100. They were given seven days to settle the fines.
