The delegation assigned to sight the new moon of Syawal 1446 Hijrah comprised Awang Haji Shaharuddin Khairul bin Haji Anuar, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Infrastructure, Housing and Professional, Ministry of Development; Syar'ie Judges and officials from the Syariah Courts, State Judiciary Department, the Prime Minister's Office, Ministry of Religious Affairs, Survey Department, Ministry of Development.

The delegation was SUCCESSFUL in sighting the new moon of Syawal. The delegations were stationed at Mutiara Exchange Building, Tungku Highway, Tanjung Batu Recreational Park, Kampung Sabun; Bukit Agok, Jerudong; Bukit Ambog, Tutong District; and Bukit Lumut, Belait District.
