The country always commemorates the arrival of the year of hijrah by holding various religious ceremonies and activities aimed at internalising the hijrah which are held throughout the country. This shows how much the country truly internalises and takes lessons from the great event of the hijrah of the Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. However, it is not enough to hold a ceremony to commemorate the hijrah if there is no awareness of wanting to increase piety and obedience to Allah SWT. This was among touched during the Friday sermon titled "Understanding and Internalising the Meaning of Hijrah".

The prayer leader said Muslims need to try to migrate, abandon all actions that bring harm and lead to failure in life, especially actions that are forbidden by Allah SWT, change to a better life and closer to Allah SWT. Allah SWT will always help His servants who intend to make good changes in themselves and their lives. If we are serious on changing, we will definitely get good results. But if we are not willing to migrate, it is impossible for success to be achieved and progress will not be successful. We need to remember that Islam does not tell us to be silent and wait for Allah SWT to change the circumstances of our lives without trying.
