68 offences were recorded during the nationwide 'Operasi Bersih Sepadu' involving enforcement agencies from the District Offices and Municipal Department. The operations were carried out simultaneously nationwide from 16th to 30th of June.

During the operations, 35 companies and 33 individuals were found to have committed offences relating to the dumping of waste without permission. All individuals and companies involved were issued compound fines and required to clean up the area as well as settle the fines within 7 days.

If in default, the case will be brought to court.
