Partnership Signing Ceremony for 21st Baiduri Masters Held

Participants will stand a chance to win luxury hole-in-one prizes comprising a Porsche Cayenne for Hole 2, Mini Cooper for Hole 5, BMW 218 Active Tourer for Hole 14 and BND$20,000 cash prize for Holes 12 and 16 in the 2016 Baiduri Masters Charity Golf which is set to tee off for two consecutive weekends from May 20-22 and May 27-29 at the RBA Golf Club.

 

The much awaited hole-in-one prizes worth more than BND$300,000 for the prestigious 21st edition of the Baiduri Masters organised by Baiduri Bank was confirmed following the partnership signing ceremony held at QAF Centre yesterday morning.

 

Signing on behalf of Baiduri Bank was Pierre Imhof, Chief Executive Officer of Baiduri Bank while Albert Lau, Chief Executive Officer of QAF Brunei represented QAF Group of Companies. Clement Chong, Deputy General Manager of QAF Eurokars and Andrew Young, Deputy General Manager, of Operations Management Division and Diversification and Strategic Development of Baiduri Bank who is also President of the organising committee of Baiduri Masters 2016 signed as witnesses.

 

"The Baiduri Masters has always been centred towards supporting our community and making a difference whether big or small. Last year, we were able to raise BND$80,000 for charity and this year we are also looking at contributing to various charitable organisations," said Imhof.

 

"Last year, we had an exceptional tournament where there were two winners for the hole-in-one prize for hole number 2 and another golfer won BND$20,000 cash for the hole-in-one prize for hole number 15," he recalled.

 

In addition to the partnership signing, the signing of two Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were also held between Baiduri Bank Group and RBA Golf Club as the official venue of the tournament as well as Baiduri Bank Group and Brunei Press to appoint Borneo Bulletin and Media Permata as the exclusive print media partners.

 

Awang Asmadi bin Hj Alimustapha, General Manager of RBA Golf Club, represented RBA Golf Club and Ng Joon An, Accountant of RBA Golf Club signed as witness. Meanwhile, Reggie See, General Manager of Brunei Press represented Brunei Press and witnessed by Dayang Hazizah Osman, Deputy General Manager of Brunei Press. Pierre Imhof, CEO of Baiduri Bank signed on behalf of the Baiduri Bank Group with Andrew Young as witness.

 

The upcoming golf tournament is divided into four divisions; men, ladies, juniors and team. The men's division will further be divided into men's open and senior categories. The Junior Golfers category is only open to golfers aged 13 to 18 years.
