CCTV Shows Briton Leapt To Death From 12th Floor Of Condo – Police

A Briton man was found dead on a pavement near a tennis court after he allegedly leaped to his death from the 12th floor of a condominium in Tanjung Aru here yesterday.

 

Burton Roger Keith Granville, 71, from Briton was found with head and body injuries after he leaped from the 12th floor of the condominium around 3.28pm.

 

City police chief ACP M. Chandra said the victim’s body was found by a security guard who immediately informed the police.

 

According to Chandra, CCTV footage from the condominium revealed the victim, who was staying on the first floor of the condominium, took the guest lift to the 12th floor before he climbed up a plastic stool and jumped down from a balcony.

 

The victim sustained severe head and body injuries and doctors confirmed the death of victim, said Chandra.

 

His body was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for a post-mortem and police have classified the case as sudden dead as there was no criminal element found at the scene.
