Brunei-Cambridge GCE Examination Results

The Examination department, Ministry of Education has released the results of Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E. 'A', 'AS' and 'O' Level examinations as well as the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) for May/ June 2017.

 

Out of 222 candidates who have sat for the Brunei-Cambridge G.C.E 'A' Level examination, 158 candidates or 71 point 1-7 percent have at least achieved 1 'A' level.  Overall, the total numbers of candidates who have at least achieved 2 'A' level are 77 candidates or 34 point 6-8 percent. 

 

Out of 1705 candidates who have sat for the 'AS' level examination, 1586 candidates or 93 point 0-2 percent have successfully achieved 1 'AS'. The total number of Candidates who at least achieved 2 'AS' level were 1313 or 77 point 0-1 percent.

 

2220 candidates (not included who have sat for one or two subjects) have sat for the examination between 3 to 9 subjects. The total numbers of candidates who have sat between 5 to 9 subjects were 305 candidates, and from the total candidates, 130 candidates have achieved 5 credits and above in 'O' level or 42 point 6-2 percent.

 

For the students who have sat for the examinations can obtain their result slip at the respective schools, while for private candidates can obtain their result slip at the Examination Department, Ministry of Education during office hour.

 

Candidates, who wish to sit for the examinations in order to improve their achievement for October/ November session, can make a registration as a 'Late Entry' with a Late Entry Fee for every subject.  Registration Form and information can be obtained from the Examination Department and closing date for the 'Late Entry' registration is on Monday, 28th of August 2017.
