KUALA LUMPUR
The 29th SEA Games, Kuala Lumpur 2017 blazed for 12 days at the Bukit Jalil Stadium was erased shortly after the official closing declaration by the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Yang Berhormat Dato Laila Utama Dato 'Sri Mohd. Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak.

The 29th SEA Games unfolded by witnessing the success of host Malaysia's overall champions who successfully collected 145 gold medals, 92 silver medals and 86 bronze medals with 323 medals at this year's prestigious Southeast Asian sports event.
Meanwhile, the Thai contingent won 72 gold medals, 86 silver and 88 bronze medals with 246 medals in second place, followed by Viet Nam in third place with 58 gold, 50 silver and 50 bronze medals, 168 medals.
The Brunei Darussalam contingent also showed improved performance by collecting 14 medals with five medals and nine bronze medals contributed by polo, sepak takraw, pencak silat, wushu, bowling, karate and netball. The 28th SEA then in Singapore with only seven medals.
The closing of the biennial sports event is a glittering and colorful theme that focuses on the 'Bangkit Bersama' theme as a symbol of excitement after winning, as well as creating mutual understanding and friendship with all sports competition.
The ceremony began with about 87,411 spectators entertained with musical performances and followed by a contingent-contingent clash, volunteers and then laughed with singing performances by Malaysia's renowned artist "Bangkit Bersama".
Then it was continued with the flag of the Federation of Southeast Asian Games to the Republic of the Philippines as the 30th SEA Games organizer in 2019, while witnessing the 29th SEA Games torch was eliminated by the end of the Games.
