Brunei Darussalam is a peaceful and prosperous country under the leadership of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam. By the grace of Allah SWT and the wise leadership and sovereignty of the monarch in ruling the country, Brunei Darussalam is renowned as a respected muslim nation, full of sovereignty and political stability and strong economy at par with developed countries. This was among the matters touched upon in today's Friday Sermon entitled "Negara Yang Aman Dan Makmur" or Peaceful and Prosperous Country.

The imam or prayer leader said that Brunei Darussalam is a country that practices Islamic teachings as a way of life, which uses the Malay Language as the country's official language as well as practising a monarchical leadership. Not only known as country rich in oil and gas, but is also renowned for its Malay culture, prosperity, the Malay traditions that are still preserved, with citizens and residents who are loyal to the religion and undivided loyalty to the monarch.
