The atmosphere of the Brunei December Festival is further enlivened with the Fruit Festival 2017 organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The festival was launched yesterday morning at Giant Hypermarket in Rimba.

 The festival was officiated by Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf Bin Haji Metussin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The festival among others aimed to promote local fruits and provide an opportunity for local fruit producers to sell and market their own produce. Also present were Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Tahamit bin Haji Nudin, member of the Legislative Council who is also the Penghulu of Mukim Gadong 'A' and Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohammad Ali, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The festival, which is conducted by Riza Fudhlana Management Services with the cooperation of Giant TMC (Brunei) Sendirian Berhad, is open to the public until the 22nd of December from 10 in the morning until 10 in the evening. On Friday, it will be open from 10 in the morning until 12 noon and from 2 in the afternoon until 10 in the evening.
