His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in a titah emphasises that the Islamic Malay Monarchy, MIB is the country's system and identity that Bruneian students studying overseas must uphold strongly. In the titah, the Monarch says the MIB is the national asset and identity and discarding it means rejecting the system and obscuring the identity. His Majesty delivered the titah during the Get Together Ceremony with Brunei Darussalam's Citizens and Residents in Australia. The ceremony was held at the Sydney's Hilton Hotel.
