The call of prayer or Azan is a symbol of the Islamic eminence. The Acting Director of Mosque Affairs said that the person who made the call of prayer gains several advantages. Awang Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri was speaking at the closing ceremony of the Azan and Iqamah refining workshop for committee members, congregants and residents of Kampong Tanah Jambu.

The workshop was organised by the Kampung Tanah Jambu Mosque. According to Awang Haji Amir Hisham, the program is hoped to encourage the people to frequent the mosque, enhance their knowledge particularly in Al-Quran and other religious wisdom.

The workshop was attended by more than 80 people who received the certificate. The program was aimed at giving a wider scope of understanding on the call of prayer and Iqamah. The participants are hoped to be able to carry out the procedure in the correct way. The participants were split into three groups, with each group taught by three teachers.
